We believe childhood should be filled with opportunities to play, explore, create, and grow. Our approach is centered on providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can learn naturally through everyday experiences, hands-on activities, and meaningful interactions.

Through art projects, outdoor play, imaginative exploration, and bilingual communication in English and Spanish, children are encouraged to build confidence, curiosity, and social skills while having fun. We also introduce age-appropriate early learning concepts such as colors, shapes, numbers, counting, letters, and language development in ways that feel enjoyable and engaging. Our goal is to create a welcoming, home-like environment where every child feels valued, supported, and excited to discover the world around them.

Licensing, Safety & Enrollment

- Gomez Family Childcare is fully licensed through the State of California. For your child’s safety and well-being:Â
- All household members have completed background fingerprint scanning and health screening.
- We are trained and certified in pediatric CPR and First Aid.
- We follow strict health and safety protocols, including active supervision at all times.
- We follow a written disaster and emergency plan.
- Our home is regularly inspected and maintained for safety and cleanliness.Â
- Children are released only to authorized individuals designated by parents or guardians.
- We care for up to 8 children, ensuring low child-to-adult ratios and personalized care..
Enrollment & Tuition
We welcome children from infancy through 12 years of age and offer year-round enrollment based on availability.

We offer full-time care, as well as extended care options for families who need additional flexibility. Limited part-time enrollment may be available depending on scheduling and enrollment availability.

Tuition rates vary based on your child's age, schedule, and care needs. We proudly accept California Child Care Subsidy Programs, including the Alternative Payment Program (APP), for eligible families.

Santa Barbara County Education Office
We believe quality child care should be accessible to families. Gomez Family Childcare accepts subsidy payments through Children’s Resources & Referral, Santa Barbara County Office of Education, and Early Development Services.
​
If you are interested in using a subsidy, we recommend contacting these agencies early to ask about eligibility, funding, and the enrollment process. Once approved, the agency provides the authorization needed for us to bill them directly for the covered portion of your child care. Depending on your benefits and the agency’s approved rate, your subsidy may cover all or part of your care, with any remaining family fee paid by the family.

If you receive assistance through another child care subsidy or payment program, reach out to us! We are open to enrolling with additional programs and can let you know if we currently work with your program or discuss what may be required to become enrolled.
